Lakad

Today’s World

O love of God who created the real world, How cast the value which costs struggles to be bold; O love of things possessed by man without a trace, How cast the new lessons consumed without a Grace. O fountain of youth which bears wicked and weakness, How worthy of stuffs ate by ego’s eagerness; O fountain of middle aged which strives for the best, How worthy of things yield within a greater test. O mighty sense of grave incidence of nowhere, How fear fought against the barriers of ev’rywhere; O mighty c ontact of conscience within our dyes, How fear jugded us with mistakes through the people’s eyes. O bless the bleed who needs to breathe empowerment, How courage finds a way to manage improvement; O bless the immune to heal the functional within; How courage entrusts with the real spirit came in.

THE COMEBACK

November 20, 2017, a week before the LET Exam results are out, I really need to go to De La Salle University-Dasmarinas because I really miss this place. The nostalgic memories sink in again when I remember everything. This is my final bow at La Salle before everything fix one blow at the time. Here are the quick and short 5 things I made in DLSU-D as an alumni: 1) Ran to the chapel to serve Lord I really need to serve the Lord without any cost because it is my way to help other volunteers in action. Yes, I need to be simple. What a blessed day also to open the Students Week with full of grace. 2) Attended the parade and also assisted COEd (for some reason) Actually, I also interacted with my friend to discuss some matters that involves Practice Teaching. Thankfully, I answered it what comes to my mind, either right or wrong. Anyways, I participated at the parade disguised as a student to enjoy the moment, again. I realized that COEd is on the first in t...

COMPLICATED

Actually this tweet happened during my 3rd Year High School. This tweet has direct impact for the rest of my high school life (my life covered in shadows; a summary during my four years in high school), trying hard to became a sociable person despite of my eagerness and weird persona. But all else fail because of severe attacks of some stuff I encountered by bullies: became gullible to the boys (to make me embarrassed to the audience), being harassed all the time (with or without attacks), being humiliated everytime I do something good, and being uncomfortable to tell my reactions and emotions to these friends trying to club me whenever I tell the truth. Maybe I start to give names in a funny way since I enter first year because I really don't know the names first until I realized that some boys becomes notorious in delivering trips and jokes that is so nasty; and insubordinate stuff that is actually illegal in the premises (which I cannot mention at once). The tr...

FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL

I was once became isolated in the world Until everyone notices me with some gifts And it becomes a precious blessing to the class For once and for all, the history's invented. Beyond expectations, became a real person In the eyes of God, a clear view wanders around The greatest gift no one saw and already know For once and for all, everything's so bright to see. I was once became communicative with them Until the day that became can't understand The words that I have to reach out the fellow friends For once and for all, the prey became the shame beast. The memory cannot analyze the real facts On the things that are mess to look like an night owl Standing about experience that is so rabid For once and for all, things go dis-illuminate. I was once became disillusioned by events And it strikes like a lightning bolt above the hill Because of conspiracies spreads like a red bull For once and for all, division requires strange things. And behold the eye o...

THE SILENT HELPERS: AN OPEN LETTER

"Action speaks louder than words." That's the time Almers give us a real impact for the millennial people. Whenever they have dirt inside and outside the rooms, they are here to serve and clean the surroundings, without any hesitations. I really never doubt about them: their normal competency and their good and simple attitude. Everywhere, I always saw them watering the soil, cleaning the floors, spending time with other people to get along with them, helping the students in any situations, and humbly making an honest reception to the students with a bit of good deed and honorable reputation. They doing their job as a human because these workers have families to carry and they are always rely on these workers who have determination to work hard and serve hard for the University as well as the manpower agency that they were work for.  For more than 18 years, despite of some irregularities in the last 4 years, they are now leaving the university. And literally, that...

SHERLOCK HOLMES: MURDERS IN THE NORTH REVIEW

Nanood. Napahanga. Napakagaling. The Philippine setting of Sherlock Holmes is a definite one kind of mystery with a humorous lines and gestures as well as the virtuous performance from the female version of Sherlock Holmes, who delivers more British way of acting to the way Dr. John Watson is so smooth in speaking his lines and his versatile action. The two are going to solve the problem or case about the mysterious deaths in the North village, leading them into the truth about the real interests of a wealthy businessman and mayor. Whatever the production team creates different lightning angles and one-shot performances of some students in the limelight, even the whole plot is interesting yet so complex, this play deserves to praise creatively and critically. For creativity, this play has a complete and nice scene and design despite of its small location, with different scenes that soothes the mystery-thriller more conducive to ask "What will happens next?" and i...

DECISIONS

"Your trial is temporary, but God’s Love is permanent." Bo Sanchez Why do I want to quote this? Because it is inspiring. Because it is interesting. Because it is essential to say optimistic. Because it is an application to our life which doesn't exceed expectations. This is the reason why commitment always have a trial for us. Because God tests us what would be our passion and our expectations to other profession and to other aspects of our life. Yesterday, I was approached by a lady, who was on the front seat of the jeepney, holding her art materials from the exhibit that she participated, which I was headed home, and was cannot serve her service in the chapel, informing me if I am served everyday in the same vicinity. I said to her that I am not served everyday since I was busy in practice teaching. I also informed her that I am disappointed to the group today since some of the volunteers who want (or need) to serve for the Lord was almost on the peak of ch...

Thy Fate Be Done

"I finally met her, again." Everyday, thousands of people around the world always communicate within each other to share, to talk some matters, to accurately foretold their experiences, and to respect their opinion when we were told to do a task. For the people who are always sociable like that, that's okay, it works all the time. But fate always relies to the present times from what deja vu means to you or someone to achieve on based on the interpretation of your dreams. Why fate does says that anyway, especially to the events happened for today? Is it an accident or is it a proper way God gave me this day to tell this elastic heart? A while ago, during the PAPalaring Pinoy, eventually after my Qualifying Exams, an inspiring sharing series was done to know their feelings inside out. Whether the qualities have been tell to ease the pain we had or take the risk to settle down the final game. I spoke twice, one was the majority of the performance as a PAP membe...

Argumentative Essay: Abortion

This essay was exhibited as one of my assessments of the Academic and Media Literacy.  The unborn child on the mother’s womb will be the God’s gift for all the matured women. But when the contradiction of parents and partners or conflicts in the society due to labor reasons, abortion was came to its solution. With nothing but a sin for all kinds, it will shut down the woman’s life morally, psychologically, and spiritually.  For me, I am against abortion because it terminates the defenseless child and it is a crime that should not be legalized. Immature women were always getting in trouble, simply because of disuse of their life. It all starts with a pre-marital sex which is common for teens through limitless curiosity. After that, unexpected pregnancy appears and everything is in ruined due to the effects of having a sin outside of marriage. The only answer to continue their lives and to avoid misfortunes from parents (who were disappointed in this result) was ABORTION, w...

A Birthday to The Greatest Girl I've Ever Met

NOTE: Probably Micah G. is my bet to win the USC; and miracles happen, she won. But this person ultimately surprised me only because I want to questioned her about the issues of the University and how they handle it (the actions done). Of course, history changed the presence in her college. So here we go: telling a story that stuck to my memory over and over again. (Just like Inside Out!) March 2, 2015, the electoral debate. I have no classes after 4:00 PM when I watched this event organized by the Student Commission on Elections. I was also doing a technical paper about Electrostatics (more complicated in reference and sentences) when the COEd slate of both parties spoke in the debate. And later, the USC slate. Now, to get an attention from some of the people who watched the debate, I asked several people about the issues and of course, their answer to my curious mind about the issues mostly within the University premises. After the deba...

THE EXTRAORDINARY DASTIN

THE GREATEST STUDENT LEADER AND STUDENT TEACHER EVER! That's why I am inspire to volunteer each auxiliary groups to define what volunteering is. Two thumbs up at lalo siyang sumasaya kahit napapagod siya.  Madiskarte din pala ito at palagi niyang nagagawa ang kanyang tungkulin na walang bahid ng kah...
