November 20, 2017, a week before the LET Exam results are out, I really need to go to De La Salle University-Dasmarinas because I really miss this place. The nostalgic memories sink in again when I remember everything. This is my final bow at La Salle before everything fix one blow at the time.
Here are the quick and short 5 things I made in DLSU-D as an alumni:
1) Ran to the chapel to serve Lord
I really need to serve the Lord without any cost because it is my way to help other volunteers in action. Yes, I need to be simple. What a blessed day also to open the Students Week with full of grace.
2) Attended the parade and also assisted COEd (for some reason)
Actually, I also interacted with my friend to discuss some matters that involves Practice Teaching. Thankfully, I answered it what comes to my mind, either right or wrong. Anyways, I participated at the parade disguised as a student to enjoy the moment, again. I realized that COEd is on the first in the trail. And I need to be in action to wait for the others because I noticed (and my Junior SWAFO friends) that the first in the line walked fast than expected.
3) Watched some performances in Grandstand
There's an opening ceremony in Grandstand to commemorate SOAR: Symphony of Arts and Rhythm. It's a nice synchronization of all dances related to the theme. And it's appreciative to the eyes of the student to wonder about the dances of every colleges participated. I heard about Leron-Leron Sinta instrumental with mixing amazing sounds that makes the day better. But I need to cut during the half because of commitments to do.
4) Lasallian Food Exhibit+ Ice Cream
I don't have a lunch, for real. Instead, I attended this exhibit that is a blast as a lunch. Well, lechon and healthy gulay are there to serve. Plus, I managed to get a free ice cream from the other side. Brilliant! But I thanked them for serving their students that make the event "a big thumbs up!"
5) Visited offices & facilities that I loved
This is one of the memorable experiences I've ever made for a whole day. Why? I talked some matters, and greeting them with "Kamusta" and experiences happened:
a) Warehouse Office - this is where I go first, thanks to SSO for I was assigned there as a student assistant there; there I said to them "Kamusta".
b) West Clinic - where I also share some experiences in LET and in the next move after the LET; I also checked my BP to observe my heart rate.
c) Faculty Association Room - There, I met my professor, Mam Pantino, which I talked about the teacher's legacy, and other stuff. In this conversation, I learned something as a catalyst of change for my future student: It's not about the grades that counts, but it's about lessons learned in life or in applying in a subject that connects to the everyday scenario.
d) URO (Research Office) - If you think that I only greet them, it's not like that. Instead, I received gratitude from the head of the research office as she asked me for a coffee. I accepted it because of their good treatment. Thus, she gave me coffee, Boy Bawang and a delicious food made in Indang. After that, I thanked her for everything, as she revealed that she had done it everytime. I will apply it when I am already a teacher.
e) ULO (Linkages Office) - I visited one of the favorite professors in my life to see her and at the same time, advised me to prepare for the career and the future.
f) GHM/Admin offices - SWC and SSO - Just a visit to my superiors there, as well as I greet and talked about the present condition.
g) SWAFO - I shared some experiences after my school life and met some Junior SWAFO/PAP friends as a reunion.
h) CMO - As I go back where I started to volunteer, I solemnly greeted them gracefully. And when I started to talk with the director of the ministry, he asked me about the morality issues that made my mind clearer than ever before. I realized that prayer can move mountains as morality needs attention to waking up the mind bright.
i) BSD (Biological Sciences Department) - I don't know where is the chair of the department. Instead, I visited my professors and staff in the laboratory to talked about the profession (resume and SHS FAQ) and stuffs that surprised me the most (i.e. favorite crush and about the first name related to my teacher's cousin).
j) Chaplain's Office - Some matters of the next activity.
Bonus:
Aklatang Emilio Aguinaldo-Information Resource Center, PMO & President's Office - The same thing I did as I visited Warehouse Office earlier. Some consultation.

I forgot to go to University Lasallian Family Office because I am running out of time to visit. But I have more time to visit them soon ASAP.
Well, that's the wrap of what did I do in La Salle in one blow. Hope that I am going to La Salle during Lasallian Festival. It's good to be a student, again. (Feeling!) I'm walking the wire, again. Happy New Year to everyone!
